Anti-His-tag capture system – fast, reversable and convenient protein immobilization
The His-tag (histidine tag) is a short sequence (typically comprising six to twelve histidine residues; His₆–His₁₂) that is genetically fused to a target protein. The tag is widely employed in protein research and biomanufacturing due to its ability to streamline purification, immobilization, and detection workflows.
Here, we present a simple, fast, and reliable method for immobilizing His-tagged proteins via the Oligo Adapter trisNTA capture system. This approach is based on an oligonucleotide-conjugated trisNTA chelator head, which anchors the His-tagged ligand to the sensor chip surface.
