How to reach us

Please read this before you plan your trip.
The SZU underground station at Zürich main station is closed for reconstruction, and it will stay closed well past our meeting date. The S4 to Adliswil does not depart from Zürich HB, and there is no replacement bus. You board it one stop further south instead, at Zürich Selnau or Zürich Saalsporthalle. Please allow around 30 minutes from the main station.
Whichever route you take, your destination is the S4 station Sood-Oberleimbach. It sits directly on Soodstrasse, about two minutes on foot from our entrance.
Where are you starting from?
From Zürich main station (Zürich HB)About 30 minutes. Two routes, both straightforward.
Route 1, recommended. Walk from Zürich HB to Zürich Selnau station, about 12 to 15 minutes along the river. Take the S4 toward Langnau-Gattikon or Sihlwald and get off at Sood-Oberleimbach, 12 minutes. Trains leave Selnau at :19, :39 and :59.
Route 2, if you prefer not to walk. Take tram 13 toward Albisgütli from Zürich, Bahnhofstrasse/HB to Zürich, Sihlcity Nord, then walk 4 minutes to Zürich Saalsporthalle station and board the S4 there.
To be there before 9 am: Route 1: S4 from Selnau at 8:19, arriving Sood-Oberleimbach at 8:31. Route 2: tram at 7:59, S4 from Saalsporthalle at 8:13, arriving 8:21. The next S4 from Selnau at 8:39 arrives 8:51, which leaves very little margin.
From Zürich AirportAbout 40 minutes to our door.
Fastest route. Take the S16 to Zürich Hardbrücke, then tram 8 to Zürich Selnau, Bahnhof, and the S4 from Zürich Selnau to Sood-Oberleimbach.
Simplest route. Take any train to Zürich main station and continue as described under "From Zürich main station" above.
To be there before 9 am: S16 from the airport at 7:31, arriving Sood-Oberleimbach at 8:11. Tickets for both legs are covered by a single ZVV ticket to Adliswil.
From your hotelMotel One, MEININGER Greencity, or anywhere near the main station.
Motel One Zürich, Stockerstrasse 61, about 20 minutes. You are already south of the closed section, so the works barely affect you. Take tram 13 from Zürich Enge, Bahnhof/Bederstr. to Zürich, Sihlcity Nord, walk 4 minutes to Zürich Saalsporthalle and board the S4. Alternatively take tram 8 to Zürich Selnau, Bahnhof and the S4 from there.
MEININGER Hotel Zürich Greencity, about 12 minutes. Walk to Zürich Manegg station and take the S4 two stops to Sood-Oberleimbach.
Any hotel near Zürich main station. Follow the main station route above and allow around 30 minutes.
To be there before 9 am: From Motel One: tram at 8:24, S4 from Saalsporthalle at 8:33, arriving 8:41. From MEININGER Greencity: S4 from Zürich Manegg at 8:37, arriving 8:41.
By car or on your ownSoodstrasse 52, 8134 Adliswil.

Parking. This part is for those of you arriving by car. The guest parking of the Sood 52 building is reserved for our guests on 9 September. It covers the two areas marked in orange on the map at the bottom of this page, both right next to the building, with around 10 spaces in total. There is no reservation and no barrier, so spaces go first come, first served. Please do not use any other space on the site.
Parking card. If you drive, please print the parking card, place it on your dashboard and leave it there for the day. It carries the date of the meeting and a phone number, so your car can be identified at any time. Download the parking card (PDF).
Coming by taxi or ride share. Give the driver the address above. The building is signposted lino Biotech and sits directly next to the Sood-Oberleimbach railway stop.

Purple: the main entrance of the building at Soodstrasse 52. Blue: the Sood-Oberleimbach train stop, a two minute walk away. Orange: the two guest parking areas, see "By car or on your own" above.
