Live Webinar with Prof. Dominik Meinel on Focal Molography in Complex Media, recorded May 28 2026

Prof. Dr. Dominik Meinel (FHNW) presents focal molography in 50% bovine serum and cell culture medium, with side-by-side benchmarks against SPR and BLI, the challenging sticky target Granzyme B, and a live Q&A with the lino Biotech team.

About the Webinar

Held live on May 28, 2026 with Prof. Dr. Dominik Meinel (FHNW, Muttenz). The talk is built on the peer-reviewed work of his group, Dirscherl et al. (2025) on binding kinetics in lysate, serum, and supernatant, and walks through the same workflow with new live data and audience discussion.

What the recording covers

  • Kinetics in 50% bovine serum. Affinity constants benchmarked side-by-side against SPR and BLI, with notably superior baseline stability for focal molography in serum.
  • Granzyme B, a molecule where both SPR and BLI fail due to non-specific adsorption. Focal molography resolves clean kinetics under identical conditions.
  • Protein quantification directly in cell culture medium and serum, with high accuracy and reproducibility across chips and matrices.
  • Live Q&A with Prof. Meinel and the lino Biotech team.

About the Speaker

Prof. Dr. Dominik Meinel is Professor for In Vitro Diagnostics and Molecular Bioanalytics at the FHNW School of Life Sciences in Muttenz, Switzerland. His group develops test kits for the early identification, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases.

Webinar held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, 16:00 to 17:00 (Zürich) on Microsoft Teams.
